Ollie's Army Walk

Having Row has made me see how easy his daily routines are. If he is hungry, he can eat right away and if it's bedtime, he can go straight to sleep. With Ollie, Lynsey and John have to give her enzymes before she eats anything and they have to do 30- 45 breathing treatments and give her "pat, pats" twice daily. But that is just the tip top of things. Other things include: worrying constantly about her health and her future, being concerned about her weight and how much she eats, traveling out of town to see doctors, seeing what and who she can come in contact with and the list can go on and on. These things are normal to them and they never complain! And because of that and the CF foundation, Ollie is doing great!
Advances continue to be made in finding a cure for CF, but help is needed now to keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Too many young lives depend on this vital research to let it go unfunded! In May, Ollie's Army is walking (some running) at the Montgomery Zoo to raise money to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Please take the time to donate to our team and help Ollie and other's with the fight against CF! You can also register and be part of Ollie's Army and the walk in Montgomery by clicking "Join My Team."

Exactly a year ago today I found out I was pregnant. Row was totally not planned and I was totally not excited about this news. Mitch and I thought we had everything planned out; we'd take some trips, build our house, get financially stable, ect . before we'd start a family. But the good Lord had a better plan for us and today I am reminiscing on this.
Everyday I thank God for Row, but today I am especially thankful for the changes He has done in my life in only 365 days.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

* we are starting to wean him off of the alimentum formula
* his butt hits the ground in his bouncer when you bounce him.... uh oh!
