10 Weeks

Row is 10 weeks old today. He has been a very happy baby this week! He barely gets fussy and he is only waking up one time at night. The Allimentum formula is doing wonders!!

Row is also smiling and "talking" a lot. It is so fun talking to him and watching his facial expressions as he tries to copy you.

This past Saturday, my mom and dad kept Row while we went to Birmingham for a wedding party for Jessica and Milo. We had a good time with great friends!

Since mom and dad were keeping Row, I figured I would dress him for the part.

This is what the shirt looked like and if you know my husband, you know this isn't true!

This is the after.....
Ghetto, I know. But a least my child didn't lie!

On Sunday, my best friend, Abby, got married. The bride and the wedding were both absolutely beautiful!

9 Weeks

Row had his 2 month appointment Thursday. He weighed 12 lbs 1 oz and was 23 1/2 inches long. When the nurse took him to get weighed he cried and screamed the entire time. He has never done that! I knew then that it was going to be a bad visit! When he finally calmed down, Dr. E came in and got him fired up again. After he left, I fed Row and rocked him to sleep. Later, 2 nurses came in and gave him 4 shots, 2 in one leg and 2 in the other and of course, he screamed. I felt so sorry for him and I swore I was not doing the next shot visit without Mitch. The poor baby was so sleepy and tired of crying, he went right to sleep when I put him in his carseat.

8 Weeks

I am a little late.... I left my camera cord at my parent's house so I couldn't upload my pictures.

Row turned 8 weeks Thursday and will be 2 months old tomorrow. Last Saturday we took our first trip out of town to visit the in-laws in Montgomery. He slept the entire way up there and back.

Monday, Mom and I took Ollie and Row to Dream Park for a few hours. Ollie had a blast and Row was very sweet! Here are some pictures.

Row has started smiling a lot, especially in the morning! It melts my heart every time.

Saturday, Mitch and I went to Auburn to watch the AU/ GA game. Mom and dad kept Row for us (they also had Ollie... bless them!).

7 Weeks

Row turned 7 weeks yesterday! Unbelievable!! He is about to catch up to his bear's size.

This past week, Row has been acting like a baby should, I think..... this is my first baby. He only cries when he is hungry, needs changed, sleepy or uncomfortable. Before, he was only happy when he was sleeping. I am glad we figured out what was wrong with him!

Sweet, sweet baby!!

Bella wouldn't cooperate.....

Couch to 5K Week 1

I have started "Couch to 5K". My sister, Lynsey, started this program 10 weeks ago and finished 2nd in a 5K run this past weekend. She, and my belly, have been a major inspiration. This program starts out at a low level, hints the word couch. I am definitely starting out at this level considering the only walking I have done in the past year is to the mailbox, around the block on a pretty day, up and down the hall at my school or around Walmart looking for things..... nothing major. Before the pregnancy excuse, I didn't do much exercising. The only time I did workouts to the fullest is when someone told me what to do (trainer, aerobic classes, ect.)

I am mentally weak, I will admit it!

So this program is just what I need! On my ipod is a man telling me what to do and when to do it. This week has gone good. I have done the program 2 times already and I feel confident I can finish it even if I have to repeat some weeks!

Everything Went Up

Today, Mom and I took Row to the doctor for a weigh in. I called yesterday because Row has been having loose stool ever since they changed his formula last Monday. They said it was normal because his formula was partially broken down, but they did want him to weigh in to make sure he wasn't losing weight. That was the 1st thing that went up...... His weight was 11 lbs. 3 oz. That is 26 oz in 15 days! So to say the least, he is a healthy baby.
The nurse today told me that everything on his culture came back negative. This meant that the blood in his stool was because of lactose and protein sensitivity and not any bacteria or viral infections. It also meant that he has to eat the most expensive formula.... the 2nd upper. But because of this expensive formula comes the next up; he is a lot happier, more content and less fussy and there is no price tag on that!
The last upper is his sleep. He is sleeping 4-5 hours, eating and then going right back to sleep.
Happy Baby = Happy Mommy and Daddy

Halloween 2010

We had a great Halloween. We went to a Halloween birthday party and Row dressed up as a skeleton. That night he went to Sugar and Pops to spend the night and he was dressed as a ghost. Here are some pictures.

That night, we went to the Monster Ball with some friends. We had a blast, but of course missed Row!
