6 Weeks

We had a wonderful weekend with the family. Friday night Mitch had to work SEAGD booth at the fair, so we went with him. Saturday, we watched football at my parents (War Eagle). Noah and Braxton spent the night with us and kept us all entertained! Sunday, AJWC worked at DreamPark. It was the most work I have done in a year, but well worth it! I know Row will enjoy the park one day!

Row hasn't had such a great week. He has been very fussy :( I don't think I could have made it without my parents giving me frequent breaks so I can keep my sanity. Dr. E. changed his formula again because he was having blood in his stool. He thinks he has some food allergies. They did a culture on it, but we are still waiting on the results.

Ollie loves her "Woe". When she wants to hold him she sits down, straightens out her legs and starts waving her hands. Woe doesn't get as excited as she does....

5 Weeks Old

Row is eating and sleeping the same as last week. The new formula and medicine seem to be working. He isn't as fussy and he isn't spitting up much anymore.

As you can tell, Row's hair is thinning out and his daddy's hairline is starting to show more.

This picture shows you how much Bella loves Row. Anytime he cries, she goes and sits right beside him. She is doing much better than anyone thought she would and she is a great "big sister".

Today, Mom, Lynsey, Ollie, Row and I went to "Scarecrows in the Park" in Opp. It seemed like a long 15 minutes; if Row wasn't crying, Ollie was and when Ollie was doing good, Row would cry. Once we got there we had a great time. First, we had a picnic by the lake. We learned Ollie loves the spicy mustard sauce from Church's. Then we went down the trail and looked at the scarecrows. Some were pretty creative, others.... not so much! Row, of course, slept and Ollie was more interested in the leaves on the ground than the scarecrows. But we had a wonderful time laughing and enjoying the beautiful day. And to end the great trip, Ollie and Row slept the whole way home!

Ollie's Sleeping Treatments

Ollie has recently learned how to give herself her breathing treatments.

I caught her Saturday night falling asleep while she was doing them.

Even when she was asleep she held the mask to her face. She is too cute!!

Doctor's Visit

My mom and I took Row to the doctor for his first hepatitis shot today. We also talked to Dr. E because Row hasn't felt good. Since Saturday night Row has been fussing and crying constantly. He would spit up during and after every feeding. And he wasn't sleeping well. Dr. E thought that he probably is having reflux. He changed his formula and has prescribed him to Prilosec. Hopefully this will help!

Row now weighs 9 lbs and 9 oz. His sore tummy didn't stop him from gaining any weight!

4 Weeks

Row is a month old and what a great month it has been!

This past week was great. Saturday, Jessica, Milo, Meg, Nutt, Sarah and Justin came up and watched football with us. Row spent the night with his Sugar and Pops Saturday night while we went to a wedding. Monday, Mitch's family came by for a visit on there way back from the beach. That night, Mitch's co-workers brought us dinner. Tuesday, we had our pictures taken with Vicki Popwell. David and Mallory brought us a delicious dinner Wednesday night. Thursday I took Row to meet the teachers at AES. Friday Mitch's Aunt Alisha, Uncle Bill and cousin Will finally got to meet Row. And this past Saturday we went and watched football with great friends at Wade and Suzanne's house. This past week Mitch and my dad met with our contractor about our house. Hopefully we will start building soon!

Row is eating 5 oz every 4 hours and he is sleeping about 3 hours at a time. He is now able to keep eye contact with you and he will hold his gaze on a mobile. Row can also hold his head up for a longer period of time and move his head from side to side while he is on your shoulder or his stomach. His favorite place to be (besides in my arms) is his bouncer. The harder you bounce it, the more he likes it. He also likes being in his car seat when it is moving. He is now out of newborn diapers and has moved up to Level 1 in size. Bathtime has gotten a little better. By that I mean he doesn't scream the ENTIRE time, just part of it. Friday, Row rolled over for the first time. I know it was a total accident; he just had all of his limbs in the right place during tummy time. But it was still very exciting!

3 Weeks Old

This past week Row has been great. He is eating like a champ! At night he wakes up every 3-4 hours to eat. Some nights he likes to stay up after he eats, but most of the time he goes right back to sleep. Row still doesn't like his bath. He cries so much during it he sounds like Chewbacca. You can't help but laugh! He really enjoys my singing and dancing. His favorite song for me to sing is Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds"

Here are some of the things we did this past week.

Friday Lynsey, Ollie, Sarah, Row and I went to the Homecoming parade.

He slept through the entire thing which included sirens and the band.

Meg and Nutt brought their new baby, Sully, over Friday night. Bella is not very fond of him! Megan, Ben, Claire and Russ came over too and grilled out.

Saturday, Mitch's mother and her friend Natalie came and spent the day with us.

Monday, Krista and Ben came over for us to see their new baby Brock.

He is adorable!

Wednesday was mine and Mitch's 3 year anniversary. He surprised me with a matching wedding band for the other side of my ring. It is absolutely gorgeous!!

We went and ate Sushi while my parents kept Row.

Thursday we went to SEAGD for Customer Appreciation Day and so Mitch could show his son off to all of his co-workers.

That night was Daddy/ Son night, while I went and played Bunco with the girls. We had a blast (as usual) and Mitch and Row did too!
