Handmade Presents

My sweet and very talented sister made A LOT of things for Rowland! Here are some of the things she gave me today.

Bib, onesies, and holiday t-shirts

Burp Cloths

She didn't make these, but they are super cute!

Row's 4D Pics

I forgot I didn't post Row's 4D pictures!!!

Our Afternoon with Ollie

Mitch and I love to spend time with Ollie.
So, this afternoon I took her to our house so we could play.

She loves her Bella!

And Bella actually loves Ollie.
Bella follows her around everywhere!

She started saying Mitch's name today, which comes out "Mish"

After we got done playing, we decided to work in Row's room.

Ollie decided to test out Row's new bouncer.

We had a very good afternoon!

Row's Kickin'

With your 1st pregnancy, experts say you feel your baby kick somewhere between 18-22 weeks. I thought I was not recognizing him kick and mistaking it for something else. But I totally felt it at 21 weeks and 3 days. It is a feeling that is so different from anything else and you definitely won't mistake it. Now at 23 weeks, Mitch can actually feel it and you can see it. We are so excited about this that I had to share!

New Ultrasound Pictures

I am lucky enough to have a friend that does ultrasounds, so I got new, better pictures of our precious baby boy! He weighs 15 ounces and he is 12 inches long. Everything still looks really good!

This is his bottom, legs (you can see his femur bones) and boy parts.

Our BIG Day

We have been counting down the days to find out what we were having since I got pregnant. Friday the doctor FINALLY told us what we were having.... A BOY!! We couldn't be more excited! We didn't have a personal choice, just as long as he was healthy and on the ultrasound, everything looked good.
His name will be Rowland Edward Thorn. We haven't decided what we will call him, either Row or Rowland, just depending on what he looks like :).
Both names are family names. Mitch's dad passed away when Mitch was 3 and his name was Mitchell Rowland Thorn. Edward is Mitch and his granddad's middle name. So both names have a special place in our hearts.

I am 19 weeks and 1 day today. So pretty much I am half way there. My due date has stayed the same, October 3rd.
