New Ultrasound Pictures

I am lucky enough to have a friend that does ultrasounds, so I got new, better pictures of our precious baby boy! He weighs 15 ounces and he is 12 inches long. Everything still looks really good!

Our BIG Day

We have been counting down the days to find out what we were having since I got pregnant. Friday the doctor FINALLY told us what we were having.... A BOY!! We couldn't be more excited! We didn't have a personal choice, just as long as he was healthy and on the ultrasound, everything looked good.
His name will be Rowland Edward Thorn. We haven't decided what we will call him, either Row or Rowland, just depending on what he looks like :).
Both names are family names. Mitch's dad passed away when Mitch was 3 and his name was Mitchell Rowland Thorn. Edward is Mitch and his granddad's middle name. So both names have a special place in our hearts.

I am 19 weeks and 1 day today. So pretty much I am half way there. My due date has stayed the same, October 3rd.

Field Day

On Friday we had Field Day at AES. I know my class had a blast!! All of the games were so much fun and the kids loved the jumpy houses! Kudos to all the helpers and the PE teachers!

A New Thorn on the Family Tree

October 3rd is the date that Mitch and I expect our first child. Although we were not planning a baby at this time in our life, we feel very blessed with the surprise that we have gotten from God. Myself nor Mitch were planned babies, so I guess it was just destiny. We are 12 weeks along and everything seems to be going well. Baby Thorn is the first grandchild for Mitch's family and they are thrilled. MeMe and Kevin (he hasn't chosen his name yet) will be great grandparents and of course Sugar and Pops are old school now. Ollie will have a new playmate and my family will have to "spread the love." We will keep you up to date on the "Thorn Pregnancy."

LAND!!

Mitch and I have been wanting to build for a long time now, but we couldn't find any land that we both agreed on to even start building. Our friends told us about a piece of property in the country club. We went to look at it and shockingly, we both loved it! Thankfully, we have my dad who knows what to do in every situation with buying, clearing land and building. He also knows a lot of people who can help us with the whole beginning to end process. (And he is cheap ;) My dad has started clearing off the brush and we have a man that has started working on a drive. We are very excited about starting this process!!!!

Since we are going to move soon, we have put our house up for sale. So if you know anyone who wants a cute little house, mention ours!!! Go to my first post to see pictures of the outside of the house.

Happy Birthday Leanne!

We celebrated Leanne's 27th birthday the other night at mom and dad's house. We had great food and a great time!

Ollie was dressed in an outfit I got her a few weeks ago and of course we had to have a photo session. It says "I love my Auntie."

Also, my wonderful mother bought me, Lynsey and Leanne these beautiful necklaces. A lady on Etsy makes them and all of her profits go to the CF foundation.
It says "Ollie Loves to Breath"
I love it so much!!! THANKS MOM!!!

SURPRISE!!!!!!

Lynsey thought she was just going to eat at the Country Club with me and Mitch, but she was in for a BIG surprise. For about a month, John and I had been sneaking around planning a 30th surprise party for her. This is how we did it.....
We told everyone to park in the back parking lot so she wouldn't see cars when she pulled up.
When they pulled up John called me to "tell me they were there."
I "told him" that the dining room was rented out and since they had Ollie we were sitting in the ballroom. (I think John got an earful from Lynsey about that :)
When she opened the door and heard surprise she was in total shock..... she had NO clue!!
Scott and Phillip played all night and we had great friends there to celebrate with her!

Here are some pictures!

And of course I had to put a picture of me and Ollie!
