Week 11, 12, 13 and 14

I have a new appreciation for working moms! It is tough.... leaving your baby for hours a day (the toughest), doing your normal "duties" at home, planning for work (teachers always bring their work home), finding clothes to wear (or clothes that fit), having a social life (even with your husband), getting sleep, trying to update blog, yata yata yata.

Here is our past month's summary.

Row turned 11 weeks old on December 2nd. This week I started back to work. The kids are always crazy before Christmas and I was crazy too, so I figured this would be a great time for us to get adjusted to each other. I had a great week back! It felt like I had never left, but also like the first day of school. My mom started keeping Row and she will continue to keep him until May, which is a total blessing!! She comes to my house around 6:30 and stays there half the day and then they usually go back to her house the other half of the day. This is very nice!!!!!!!!!!!

This week was a little easier. My mom and I have somewhat adjusted to our new schedules.

This week was a little more hectic. We had Christmas parties galore... Faculty, grade-level, classroom, AJWC, Sunday School and our infamous Tacky Christmas Sweater party.

This picture shows what a happy baby Row is. When he smiles it makes all of my worries and cares go away. But he can also get mad fast!! When he gets mad there is no calming him down until he gets what he wants. You have to be extra fast at fixing his bottle, changing him or bathing him.

10 Weeks

Row is 10 weeks old today. He has been a very happy baby this week! He barely gets fussy and he is only waking up one time at night. The Allimentum formula is doing wonders!!

Row is also smiling and "talking" a lot. It is so fun talking to him and watching his facial expressions as he tries to copy you.

This past Saturday, my mom and dad kept Row while we went to Birmingham for a wedding party for Jessica and Milo. We had a good time with great friends!

Since mom and dad were keeping Row, I figured I would dress him for the part.

This is what the shirt looked like and if you know my husband, you know this isn't true!

This is the after.....
Ghetto, I know. But a least my child didn't lie!

On Sunday, my best friend, Abby, got married. The bride and the wedding were both absolutely beautiful!

9 Weeks

Row had his 2 month appointment Thursday. He weighed 12 lbs 1 oz and was 23 1/2 inches long. When the nurse took him to get weighed he cried and screamed the entire time. He has never done that! I knew then that it was going to be a bad visit! When he finally calmed down, Dr. E came in and got him fired up again. After he left, I fed Row and rocked him to sleep. Later, 2 nurses came in and gave him 4 shots, 2 in one leg and 2 in the other and of course, he screamed. I felt so sorry for him and I swore I was not doing the next shot visit without Mitch. The poor baby was so sleepy and tired of crying, he went right to sleep when I put him in his carseat.

8 Weeks

I am a little late.... I left my camera cord at my parent's house so I couldn't upload my pictures.

Row turned 8 weeks Thursday and will be 2 months old tomorrow. Last Saturday we took our first trip out of town to visit the in-laws in Montgomery. He slept the entire way up there and back.

Monday, Mom and I took Ollie and Row to Dream Park for a few hours. Ollie had a blast and Row was very sweet! Here are some pictures.

Row has started smiling a lot, especially in the morning! It melts my heart every time.

Saturday, Mitch and I went to Auburn to watch the AU/ GA game. Mom and dad kept Row for us (they also had Ollie... bless them!).

7 Weeks

Row turned 7 weeks yesterday! Unbelievable!! He is about to catch up to his bear's size.

This past week, Row has been acting like a baby should, I think..... this is my first baby. He only cries when he is hungry, needs changed, sleepy or uncomfortable. Before, he was only happy when he was sleeping. I am glad we figured out what was wrong with him!

Sweet, sweet baby!!

Bella wouldn't cooperate.....
